So I'm having trouble unistalling the softmod on my xbox. I downloaded the lastest ms c backup uploaded it to E:/Backup and now it say the the ms dash is not valid. Any suggestions??

I'm not much of a softmod expert, unlike a lot of people on here, just so you know, but I have done my fair share of them. Seems like I've been saying this a lot lately but if ALL ELSE FAILS, you can always do a hotswap. Doing this allows you to rebuild your xbox hard drive from scratch (factory state) Our own HQ member, pirrup, has a great tutorial and the necessary ms-dash files located underneath his signature. It is very simple to perform if you have a regular PC. Only takes about 5 minutes tops. Sorry I wasn't much help, but I tried _________________ XBOX v1.6c

If you're looking to end up with clean hdd:
1 Use AID and install the m$dash from the dasboard menu.
2 Delete everything in e: LEAVING ONLY udata and tdata.
If you are planning to eventually go back to some sort of mod then just install the m$dash and don't delete anything. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

If u put the ms dash on the wrong directry that might be 1 reason or if its wrong... BUT IF U WANT TO COMPLETELY remove the softmod BUT not to loose anytin else .. then do this...
get aid or xed i perfer xed its here on hq then run it click UNINSTALL ALL SOFTMODS it will ask what bios u used pbl or nkpatcher.. then once it uninstall it will ask to turn off DO NO then look for INSTALL MS DASH 5960 then it ask to turn off .. DO YES then ur xbox should be fine.. Hey its eiter this or hotswap... _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition
