I'm looking to replace my xbox hard drive. I've read several tutorials and i was just wondering if anyone here knows a site where i can get a video tutorial where someone is actually doing it. I want to get it done but im not too confident in my abilities considering i've never opened up an xbox before. I also want to play on live. I heard something about a marriage theory and i'll get banned if i replace the hard drive and try to sign on to live? Can someone clarify this and give me tips........... PLEASE!!!!!! I used SID 4.0 to install my softmod so can someone tell me if it support hd replacement or swapping?

as for the video tut, ive never heard of one, but dont worry it isnt all that complicated...regarding the marriage theory, it is true (i havent seen it disproved yet and you are better safe than sorry)...once xbl detects that you are using a different eeprom than the one "married" to your hdd, or vice versa, you will get banned...you could always buy a new eeprom from xbox-scene.com forums... _________________ Xbox-V1.1-Xenium GOLD OS 2.3.1-X2 5035

That is not entirely true ... if u been on live then it registers everying ur eeprom ur hd serial keys etc.. but if u never been on live then u can just make new hdd with current eeprom and run new hdd n u wont get ban period... i have 200gb hdd and been playin on live more then 1 month.. no ban.. takes m$ 6hrs to find out of u mod or anyitn.. _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition
