I need someone to help explain or plz post pictures on how to solder. I have a Halo SE box with a V 1.6 motherboard and I want the modchip to b permanent but have no skill of soldering PLZ HELP ME!!!

What modchip are you trying to install....most sites have pictures and guides of how to install their chip.....if you are look at a xenium there is a good guide called the iceguide on their teamxodus.com website which you can check out....i must caution you though, i highly suggest practicing on something before diving into your 1.6 since they aren't too much fun....good luck.

That didn't tell me anything I need to know HOW TO solder not which methods of soldering there are

Alright fine then....its as simple as heating your soldering iron up....put some flux at the point you want to solder....grab your solder....place it where it needs to be...and solder......Do your homework noob...if you would have looked at that guide it tells you tips for soldering...and btw, there really arent different methods of soldering...soldering is soldering...later.

There is a finesse to soldering...

is summed up.

I would suggest a solderless solution.
They are permanent.

Teaching someone to solder isn't something as easiliy done on the web as it would be in person.

i wouldnt recommend doing the lpc rebuild until you learn how to solder really good or you will brake the xbox
