Hey
This is the text document that came with the eeprom utility.If anyone knows anything about this or how to use it or atleast point me to some indepth instructions that would help me out.

USAGE:
------
1. VERY easy, just launch the LiveInfo.exe and let the very intuitive world of Windows help you !!
2. To check the password of a currently locked or unlocked hdd attached to the system,
simply select the Device Number from the list and load the eeprom info of your choice
3. Load .BIN or .CFG files by selecting the file "type" (*.bin or *.cfg) when clicking on "Load EEPROM"
4. Save as .BIN or .CFG bly clicking the corresponding buttons.. (100% ConfigMagic Compatible!)
5. Reset values to a blank EEPROM by clicking "Reset"
6. To change the XBOX EEPROM Version, simply select the desired Version and save the converted EEPROM.

I have the one that supports 1.0-1.6.This has some instruction but does this work and is it as easy as it seems as far as converting say a 1.6 to a 1.4 and such as that. In other words is this for real.

No wasnt banned just would like to figure this litle peace of sofware out.
If it works like its suppose to it could be very handy.I geuss I best just leave it alone.Whats that old saying if it aint broke dont fix it lol.

this tool is very usefull sometimes, but it's all on what you want to accomplish, it's made for you to edit the eeprom and reflash your xbox, or other stuff, and yes it could be very dangerous, so don't try.
what I can tell you is, that for the use of SID4.5 comes with a tutorial to acomplish the virtual eeprom fix. _________________ Xbox v1.1
