I am a point to softmod my unmod xbox using ,sid 3.0
i have some questions because it's says that clean my c drive.
do i still have a backup from my eeprom, hddkey etc and if so in what directory?
I have a pal regio2 xbox therefor i like to try sid3 in sted of 4 because some bugs are in it with pal regio 2 or is it already solve.
when i use the softmod can i play pal and ntsc games?
Must i install the dashboard on drive C or E, and my apps,emulator's etc?
i hope someone can answer these questions

evox will make a backup in c:\backup
i think the softmod dashboard goes to c:\
and the apps and emus u can install to e:\ or f:\ if u got a big farddrive _________________ Xbox v1.0/1.1/1.5/1.6a

then i am a little bit confused, because after the softmod, you must install aid 2.11 en than he format's c: en create a new msdash, regarding the install note's so the backup is gone????
so how can??

aid 2.11 has its own softmods , so basically what you is resoftmod the xbox again from the start ,
you dont need to use aid if your xbox is already softmoded
to get the backup from c:\ you need to ftp it to the pc _________________ Xbox v1.0/1.1/1.5/1.6a

ok, tnx that is clear, I have only one question:
with the softmod you can choice between nkpatcher or a pbl,
can you explain or someone what is the difference and advantage of each
can i copy all c and e files from an already softmod xbox to my own?
and will it work?

i dont know the differences between softmods ,
i only do chips and tsops ,
you cant just copy a softmoded dash from xbox to xbox because the unmoded xbox harddrive is locked and there is no way of getting to it unless you softmod it or hotswap it _________________ Xbox v1.0/1.1/1.5/1.6a

i agree, but when I softmod my xbox , with only evox on it and i go to ftp and copy backup files from my friends xbox and overwrite drive C and E will it than work??
