I need to do a little more reading, but was wondering if XBMC could be the default dash on a softmodded xbox.
xbox is a 1.6 version.
Again...need to do some reading, but plan to softmod an xbox at work during lunch

Yes any dashboard can be installed with a softmod..
I have XBMC on my mates softmodded xbox as a default dash.. He loves it..
Just keep reading mate.. Really the easiest way to do it is from the AIDeluxe disc.. Choose to install dashboards from the 'softmod' section and it should work fine.

i suggest you install SID 4, and install Xbox Media Center as E:\DASH\default.xbe << if you install it to E:\DASH\ it will automaticly load that instead of E:\dashboard\default.xbe or E:\evoxdash.xbe
You can do this by downloading DISC iso from VIP Downloads/Exploits/Discs

So you just put the default.xbe in E:\DASH\ and thats it? Where do all the other files and folders go? Right now I have XBMC setup as an app and evolutionX as the dash but I would like that to change.
