Hello all, I just got a second xbox to use as a media center in a different room, I have a no solder x3 in my box downstairs but dont want to have to purchase another chip, so im looking to softmod this box. Ive got myself a copy of the original splinter cell off ebay, and the save game file but not bought a memory mem card or action replay device.
What I would like to know is there an easy way to mod my new xbox using the chiupped box I already own? btw. on the chipped machine I have split the wires on port4 to give me a USB connection so I can hook up a pen drive.

you can use the chipped xbox to transfer the savegame to the mem stick
you would still need to make a usb cable for the xbox so you can use the mem stick as a mem card. _________________ HOTSWAP | MS dash |

Ok, got the SC exploit on the HD of the unmodded box, and deleted all other saves. Ive loaded SC ==> Start Game ==> Profiles ==> Linux, and I arrive at the load checkpoint screen. I select 'CHECKPOINTS' and the xbox freezes on that screen.???????
Anyone got an idea why?
