I was wondering if someone could explain how i use SID 4.0 to make it so i have the option to boot the regular ms dash so it can play xbox live and boot a modded dash?
This is my friends xbox im trying to do this on and he has a softmodded with the evox dash.

In the set up process, it will give you a selection for dual boot. Choose the one that lists softmod and retail dash (something to that effect). When it's done, the power button will boot the softmod and the eject button will boot the retail dash. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

good info DM but u forgot to tell him he MUST have the xbl acc b4 he softmods with sid4 so its like this saying u have the hack files on ur xbox load them then you get to installer click eeprom back up then ms dash backup then click install softmod xbox ntsc or pal which eve applies choose DUAL BOOT = RETAIL that is what u ask for.. then after u do that it wil patch and stuf and @ some point u have to turn it off then POWER IT ON QUICKLY eject disc and close tray then let it do the FINAL STEP and its ALL EASY it just sounds hard BUT ITS EASIER THEN U THOUGHT.. _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition
