you either didn't install your dash from SID 3 menu, or you forgot something else.
Error21 is when it fails to load an xbe, so it's most probably that nkpatcher loaded, but didn't find C:\evoxdash.xbe or E:\evoxdash.xbe.
Note: I had issues with SID 3 once, but i figured it was not supporting C:\evoxdash.xbe, but E:\evoxdash.xbe was working.
I suggest you use SID 4.
But I can't get anything to work. I can't get to any menu or anything. I didn't use AID because I couldn't get a readable disc, so it was just SID I had loaded.
What can I do for my XBox?

I assume you did the smart thing, and left SID 3 gamesave in your xbox hdd.
All you have to do, is put your exploitable game that you used to install SID 3, cold boot it, run installer, and restore your MS Dash.
I also hope you did the smart thing to backup your MS Dash, or else you got some ftp work to do.
If you backed up MS Dash with SID 3, restore it, power off, power on, your xbox should be retail, no softmods, then take SID 4, and put it in there after you delete all previous SID 3 saves, and boot that.
If you read all correctly, trust me, you'll be on your way with your modded xbox, and all will be smoth from now on. _________________ Xbox v1.1

I turned on the XBox, put SC in, turned it off, then turned it back on. That didn't work. Nor did simply opening it and putting it in. It still gives me error 21.
Is hotswapping required at this point?

If you have a backup of you eeprom.bin you could just swap your drive to your PC and use xboxdm to restore the files... thats what I had to do.
If you don't then you'll need to hotswap, and use xboxhdm to replace it.
