Posted: Tue Apr 26, 2005 6:52 am Post subject: "launch dvd" doesn't seem to be functioning for me
I've been fiddiling around with my xbox for several days now and getting VERY frustrated, for some reason (it doesn't matter which dashboard I use, evox or Xunleashed) the "Launch dvd" will not work at all! I'm not quite sure why, but dvd's do work? (Maybe because it uses the dongle dvd application). However, backed up games and audio won't. When I click on the "launch dvd / play media from dvd" it just shows the logo of the dashboard I'm using, and then goes back to the dashboard menu.

by defualt the launch dvd feature uses ms dash, if your link to ms is
broken it won`t work. most dash`s allow for you to configure the launch dvd feature to launch from the config and ini files. you can set
them to either use dvdx2 or xbmc.

i have this problem with dvds only....but i just go down click "ms dash" in evox dash and it starts right away.....

can anybody tell me is this a softmod problem or does it have to do with the evox ini or evox install???
