I recently bought a used X-Box and don't know the version. How do I find out what version I have?

yup.. Check out the XBOX-HQ XBOX VERSIONS page..
I will be updating it tonight with some changes but im sure you will figure out what version you have from there..

btw.. If anyone needs to know their xbox version we have our own section here on xbox-hq which explains it.. I know it doesnt have the v1.6 information yet but i will be updating this week..

Funny you said that... my daugher was sitting next to me today. She was playing my xbox while I was typing away on some posts and she said, "daddy is that your site"? HA
I think that was her little way of saying, "Is that ALL you do"!!!!
If anyone needs pics of the 1.6 xbox, we have some here posted in the forums. I could find the post if anyone needs! The only way I know of checking for 1.6 is physically opening it to look inside. I don't know if any other methods have recently come out.
