Posted: Sat Dec 10, 2005 2:40 am Post subject: SOS X3 gone crazy. Eject and Power working other way around?
HI.
I just modded 3 xboxes and all of them are version 1.6 and all with Xecuter 3 CE chips. Two installs with pinheader and one was a completely solderless xapt3r install. The strangest thing is that when I try booting the chip up (even before flashing and putting in HDD and DVD) the only way to turn on the Xbox with chip enabled (Blue) I have to use the EJECT switch (which obviously also ejects the tray). If I press the power button (long or short) the Xboxes boot up with chip disabled (Red X). I checked the solder points and rebuild PCB points and everything looks correct.
Another thing is that on the solderless Xapt3r adapter the led lights are showing red,red,orange,green and blue or something like that. Is that correct or are all of them supposed to show blue?
Please help...
Never mind.. Found out at least why it was booting in such a strange way. I'm not gonna tell you what it was. It was so stupid I might get banned for life here just for wasting space
The lights however are still a question on the other box but it works so they probably are supposed to show these colors.
