Hello,
I have recently performed a softmod on a couple 1.0 xbox's. The first one
I was able to install the software with AID 2.11 that I burned to a dvd.
When I did this I did not add any 1 gig blanks to it, and everything worked fine. But now I want to run it on the other xbox, and it will not boot off ot it. I then tried to boot my first xbox, the one already finished witht he disk, and low and behold it won;t boot either. Usually it just boots into unleashx, other times it will just sit there for a loooong time.
I read that adding the 1 gig dummy file to the ISO would help with this. So I thought I would give it a shot. But it seems my copy of AID 2.11 did not come with a tools directory or this iso updater.
I do not want to have to download the whole thing again. So is there anywhere I can get JUST the iso updater? I do have the addons directory.
Also WILL this help? and how many 1 gig dummy files should I add?

You can always manually edit the iso using C-Xbox Tool 2, extracting the .rar from the addons dir, and placing the file into the iso, then recompiling the iso using Qwix or C-Xbox Tool 2. Both programs I used frequently seeing as how they allow you to decompile, edit, and recompile an iso in about 20 minutes. Sounds like a long time, but editing a FATX iso is a bitch . I believe the iso updater is in a folder called either tools or extras. _________________

I redownloaded AID 2.11. The first one I downloaded did not have the tools directory. This one does, and has the tool.
So I will recompile the ISO later today and see how it goes. I have 4 of these xboxes to mod today it seems. Wish me luck.
