i softmodded using splinter cell-everything went right but then i tried to play live on halo 2 and it said to troubleshoot so i did then my screen was black with green text in like japaneese or something and theres was a 21 in the top left all i want to do is play live and get my memory back so i can listen to my tracks and such---short(i want to de-mod my xbox, so its normal or so i can just play live and mod halo 2) very confused noob

alright i just read what a hot swap is....and yea there MUST be another way!? anyone out there if there is another way plz tell me...i screwed up trying something i shoudnt have!if there is no way can anyone tell me how to mod halo 2 or links to download or anything-(big time halo 2 nerd)

Try booting with splinter cell again and restoring your old dash.... otherwise... a hotswap might be the only way, unless you backed up your c drive or eeprom to your computer's hd...

helll no... hot swap isnt the only. way.. ok do this... yes try to load spliter cell restore to defaults.. if that doesnt work OR u didnt back up C folder.. then use nknave's disc iso ... boot it and click on uninstall all softmods.. then its going to ask u if u have pbl (phenoix bios loader) or nkpatcher.. selet the right one... once done it will say done susessfuly and ask if u want to reboot the xbox SAY NO then on that disc look for ms dash 5960 install it NOT in e or an other folders just click INSTALL MS DASH 5960 do it then when it ask to turn off or sussesfully THEN U GOT A BRAND NEW XBOX NOW i would back up my C E AND EEPROM.. just to be on the safeside... NOW THIS SOUNDS ALOT ALOT ALOT EASIER THEN HOTSWAP ... its seems long cuz im trying 2 explain it the exact way i always done it and it never fiailed me.. and im sorry to say THAT U just MIGHT be ban from xbox live.. how far did u go onto the xbox stuff???? AS FAR AS HALO 2 MODS .. WE CANNOT AND WILL NOT TELL U SUCH INFO.. btw if using mods on live u will get caught and ban... _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

Gus what you are saying can only work if he used SID4 because only then he will habe a virtual C and a virtual eeprom .
if he used another softmod and he can't run the exploit game then he will need to do a hotswap to recover his xbox.(look under my signature for the tutorial) _________________ HOTSWAP | MS dash |

i didnt had sid 4 on my stock xbox hdd remember?? it was sid2/ltools f#&@ up... so i got the disc iso click unistall all softmods say no to turn off install ms dash 5960 and turn it off then turn it on and brand new conditions... _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition
