Hi everyone, i just used SID 3 and everything was working fine up until i tried to get the M$ dash working. i had a bit of a scare (xbox went straight to error screen, boot disc wouldnt boot) but luckily the game booted and i could get back to the softmod menu and fix it up.

Anyway, i just wanted to ask if to get the M$ dash working while the softmod is on, do i have to choose "patch ms dash 59..." from the softmod menu, or is it done by some other means. i dont really want to go re-doing everything again so if someone knows the right way i'd really appreciate it. cheers Smile

if your dash is not 5960 then don't patch, now the best ways to get your ms dash working are few, but i suggest waiting for SID 4, or use My Installer here: http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/downloadvip-file-1054.html&title=Knave's%20Softmod%20Installer%204%20Final

this will use full retail ms dash you might have regarless of version, but you can't install the OPEN=RETAIL if your dash isn't 5960, single boot, and dual to gamesave are accessable, and it will take your retail ms dash and use it in a virtual partition and run it flawlessly.

Also make sure you have your xbox C drive reail, for the install to work properly.
