I softmodded a friends xbox for him and gave him a few emulators w/ games. I tested out all the emulators before giving it back to him and everything worked fine. He called me today and told me that everything was fine except for the xsnesx emulator. It brings up a black screen that says something about his video. He has a widescreen HD Samsung TV so I am pretty sure it has something to do with that.
Does anyone know what would correct the problem?
Thanks in advance.

Well, I made sure that when I modded his xbox that ALL emulators worked properly. All the SNES roms showed up on the main menu like normal, but he's saying that's not the case on his TV. He said he was going to try another TV in the house and get back to me. But I would like to know for future reference if there is a settng or option to remedy the problem.

not that i know of, it seems that most apps weren't made for highdef or widescreen.
like i said, you can't run xdsl on widescreen s-video way. it must stricly be on standard resulution, and no highdef, if you use the s-video on a non-widescreen tv it works, cause i've done it.
so, i guess he's gonna have to use another tv for emulation at least, if not downgrade tv for xbox use. _________________ Xbox v1.1
