OK I've softmodded my box with success. Yeah! I have some misc. questions.
1) So first question. I believe I installed XBMC multiple times. Once to C: then once to E: then finally once to E:/Apps. Dont ask why. I think I may have done it throughout the SID and AID process not knowing where to best install everything. But now I am now using XSelect to choose my different dashes at the beginning, booting XBMC from E:/Apps by default. Can those other XBMC dashes on C: and E: be removed without problem? Or should I just leave them since everything is working fine?
2) Right now I'm just using the stock drive. Still trying to learn and I dont have anything bigger than a 20 gig lying around so I have to wait on upgrading. Anyways, I tried using DVD2Xbox to copy a game over my network to a share on my XP PC so I can make a backup copy. Not sure how to set this share up correctly. Now when I go to view videos or music in XBMC, browse to WORKGROUP (SMB) I can find all my windows shares. I am able to access and stream files. Way cool!
BUT when I try to copy a game to a SMB share I get this error:
"ACL Processing is not supported via snb. "
I tried editng the TCP/IP settings on my PC but that just dropped the share off all together. How do I get this to work? Certain port on router perhaps?

Ok.. If it is install as your DEFAULT (first boot) dashboard and working that means you can delete the XBMC copy from the E:\Apps or F:\apps directory safely..
You have to know what options you selected when you used SID.. Did you choose to have your dashboard on the C:\ drive with your softmod?? Or did you choose E:\ drive?? Whatever drive you selected will determine which dashboard you CAN or CANNOT delete..
hope that helps and sorry for the delay in a reply.
