Everytime I try to flash the bois of my chip, it says that it is the incorrect size. I have a premod xbox w/ a xenium running OS 1.1. I have set the bank size to every option trying to get the chip flashed w/ the evox bios. Maybe I did something wrong when I installed slayers. I also have a 160 gig HD with a samsung DVD
I don't know what to do, please help

make sure to rename your bios file to bios.bin, thats prolly your problem

I tried that, I also placed various different size dummy files w/ it. I also tried different types of bioses. I tried memorex CDRW and I also tried Fuji DVD+R's. I heard some ppl on other boards say to open the xbox and connect a PC cdrom up and try that. Has anybody tried this?
I went to Compusa and got various types of media and hopefully one will work.
Any other ideas? I be glad to take them.

ok ill try to help, i too have a xenium chip. Are you installing m7 or m8? Also if you have a 160 gig dard drive you will need to patch your bios for Lb4A8 ( allows you to use all 160 gigs). Use xbox tool to do this. You should be trying to flash from only the 256 bank, make sure your file is called bios.bin and not bios.bin.bin, believe it or not people name the file wrong. _________________ halo xbox ver. 1.4

OK the xenium sees 160 GIGs in the OS. I was changing the name of M7 to bios.bin.bin I'm a noob that just started 3 days ago and I actually am good w/ computers and I didn't think that was right. I'm going to try burning it w/ the name bios.bin and see what happens. I'll report back
