sorry im a huge noob when it comes to the modded xbox. I had a buddy install it and I am loving it, but one thing is that it doesnt automatically load dvd movies when they are inserted in the machine. plus if i go through the dvd player he installed the remote (xbox offical one) doesnt work. any advice? what do i need to download/install to get it working?

If you want to load the DVD automatically, you need to boot the M$ dash. Being that your box is modded it will do nothing until you tell it where to start. If you load for example Evox, you have to launch apps then look for the dvd player.
The M$ dvd remote will not work that way though, you will have to use your controller to view movies if you go through your apps. _________________
