Ok so its me again in need of help. And Im sure some of you know my current situation.
Alright Shark2th...I bought Maxell dvd+rws and tried it. Didn't work. I tried re-burning it at the slowest possble speed still didn't work. I even swaped a samsung drive in there and it still wouldn't boot up. I get error code 16. Any suggestions? I so want this to be fixed tonight. I've got a party on Sunday night and I hope its fixed by then.

It could be that the iso you made. Try using the iso that you find when you unrar AID.
Error 16? Are you softmodded or chipped. If you are softmodded, load up the game that you used for the exploit and redo the softmod. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

Try to boot to you chip's OS and launch the disc from there. That's if your chip has an OS. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

Alright heres the whole run down.
Xbox V1.0 Died. Assumed HDD; grinding noise and error 7. Next step install new HDD that I thought had the MS dash on it, but Im not positive if it does or dos not. I then installed a spiderchip 1.1 then flashed with evox m8+ and I couldn't get it to run, couldn't even get to the Dash.
I have worked on this a lot and tried to diagnose the problem. I have a cousin who has a modded box and I dropped his unlocked HDD into mine and it worked. I got error code 16 after the flashing(no dash) so then I set the clock somehow with swaping parts then I got error 13(this is all with the chip turned on). Thats what makes me think that its the HDD and its lack on files on it.
Today I burned AID to a dvd+rw with a brand that has worked on my thomson drive well. Poped it in, and nothing. Tried burning a few times still nothing. I swaped a friends dvd drive(samsung) and I still couldn't get it to read. Still error code 16. I tried and tried to get it to work. And if I turned the mod chip off I get error code 6. Thoughts, suggestions, help??? Thanks

Since you friend's box is ok, set up your hdd in there. Then once make sure that it's functional then tranfer it to your box. If you box still gives you errors then it may be the chip. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

Yeah the more I played with it the more I think it might be the chip. I kept trying to boot it and a few times it would just go to a black screen. All of my connections were tight and good. It never did that with the chip off though. I bought it from divineo. Hopefully all will go well and I get a new one and I wont even HAVE to use AID. Although I probably will.
If I do get a new chip what bios should I use to flash the chip and where can I get it from?

AID is a very usefull tool. It has the different bios's packaged in it. Most people use EvoX M8 or X2 for the bios....some load both. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS
