I have a soft mod xbox using evox dash. I have FlashFXP to FTP into my XBOX. I have a crossover cable connected directly from back of the system to the Ethernet Port on the computer. I was using FTP today, and everything was going just fine. I turned my computer back on, and tried to FTP, but connection was refused. I'm running XP on my computer, and in my "Network Connections", it says that I am connected with my "Local Area Network". When I turn off my xbox it says that I am disconnected. So I know the cables are good and everything. I just don't know why it's not connecting with anything I try to FTP it with. My computer specs for the network are as follows:
Under the "Internet Protocol (TCP\IP) Properties" I click "properties and it says: "Use the following IP address". Under IP address is "192.168.0.4"
Subnet Mask is "255.255.255.0" Everything else is blank.
For my xbox, the specs are as follows:
NETWORK:
Type Static
IP 192.168.0.3
Line Status 100/Full Duplex
Ethernet MAC address (Don't know if you need that...)
Setup Network Yes
Use Static IP Yes
IP 192.168.0.3
Subnetmask 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway 192.168.0.100
DNS 192.168.0.4 (These are repeated
DNS 192.168.0.4 in the menu like this.)
Setup Delay 0
Skip Setup If No Limk No
If you need any other info, just let me know. I think I pretty much covered it. Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED

Hi Eipnacirema,
The best way to get all your network information is to do this:
1. Click 'Start Menu' and choose 'Run'
2. Now type 'cmd' and press enter
3. When the popup windows starts type 'ipconfig /all' without the ''
4. it will now display your ip info for your entire computer.
COPY AND PASTE YOUR INFO HERE.. I OR SOMEONE HERE WILL HELP YOU.
