I've tried 3 dvd's now - I've updated the iso with dummy files and still no luck. I set my xbox settings to launch on boot and nothing will work.

I have the evox screen and it says launch dvd but it won't launch.. I reboot with the disk.. it doesn't launch.

What am I doing wrong?

I don't have any games to test on this.. I'm using this strictly for a media center over the network..

I threw in an audio cd and it just says "executing"

also if it helps my bios version is coming up as "uknown"

What kind dvd did you use? DVD-R or DVD+R or something else ?
xbox don't like DVD+R and hold down speed to 2.4 for better results with the bootdisk but also all games you want to burn!
