I have a softmodded xbox v1.1 running Evox from c: and Avala. from e:, I was wondering if there is a way to use the f partition. or to access the extra harddrive space that doesn't show up. Also can the sapce on x, y, z be used or are they important. I'm going to install a second harddrive soon, but I like to maximize my usage of disk space. I want to either use this extra space on E: or use the F: drive
I have a 10gb Seagate
c: 499.91 mb
e: 4,881.61mb
f:0
h:96kb
x: 749mb
y: 749mb
z: 749mb

X,Y,Z drives are for caching files. Do not touch them. As for the F partition u will get one when you upgrade your hard drive.Just not enough space on those stock drives.

Thanks, I'll make sure I leave those alone. So there is no way to access the additional 2gb without a modchip

There is a tutorial on how to do it. I did one but through my mod chip. You might want to check some of the auto-installersfor any disc managers.

R yes, using unleashX just format f drive only, if you actually have a ten+ GB hdd then you shall recieve an extra two gb.
(edit) the password is "Xbox" with a capital "X" to start.

(hic) enjoy!

You can also use AID to format the F drive...If you don't have unleashX.
