Hi,
i own a retail 1.0 xbox with a new Aladdin XT modchip.
I would like to install AID on my xbox, and i would like to know if it would work (because of the modchip)
Do I need any special bios on it?

yes it will work as long as you have a hacked bios on your chip

By hacked bios he means say the EVOX M8 bios..
THats the bios i would suggest you use to flash your aladdin.
Just make sure you get the right M8 bios.. There 2 versions.. 1 x M8 bios is for xbox versions v1.0-v1.5 and the other is for xbox versions v1.6
Thats should get you going in the right directino.

You can then install whatever you want..
You really have no need to ever flash your bios if it is already running M8.. The M8 supports LBA and larger hdds so your xbox will be totally ready.
