Ok so I can't get any of my ISO boot disks to load. The xbox sees the disk but no files show up. So I Found a way to load the files manualy and I finaly get evos X to work.
But now the Retail Kernel A will not boot up it gives me some error.
(I am using Xenium 2.01 xbox V-1 + EVOX8)
Also some of my original Disks Like Area 51 won't boot but others will (using EVO and not at all using the Retail Kernel.)

I must have put a file in the wrong spot on the C: Drive can anyone help.

And of course I didn't back up my drive.

So I am considering "Donating" via paypal to someone who can create me some boot disks +...
Email me with a list. markdp@infowest.com

I have a mac, and am not having luck creating a boot disk, I can FTP but thats all.
And using the app. dvd2xbox I can copy my boot disks to the hard drive, but they will not boot the xbox.
Any help would be greatly welcomed.

Try using a different brand of media. Some readers won't recognize certain discs. Once you load a bios like Evox M8 Use AID to load the dashboards you like. AID also has a retail dash you can load back on the c: partition.
Good Luck.

My xbox sees the disk and it shows up as D: drive but I still can't get it to boot
could the way I creat the disk be wrong? It shows the disk as being blank.
1. I download the rar file
2. Unrar it to its own folder
3. I use Quix to create the ISO disk image
4. I use DVD Decrypter to burn ( I have tryed Nero as well)
5. Still will not work
6. I am using Virtual PC xp to do all of this, plus I have a external super dvd drive
and I have a internal super dvd but no luck using either one.

Can I use this AID via FTP?
Thanks
