First of all, I have been sucessful in with 3 softmods that were upgraded to 3 new Hard drives as well. Everything went ok, I just had to reload the avalaunch skins for some reason. However, the main problem I encountered is that on the 2nd and 3rd HDD upgrades using HD maker 1.9, MS Dashboard 5960 will not boot up to the dashboard - it just keeps rebooting. I even re-installed off of the AID 2.11 DVD - no luck. I am booting the XBOX with Xselect boot selector, so I am just booting to XBMC or Avalaunch for now. I want to boot to MS Dash occasionally to make changes to HighDef/audio settings or to get into the game saves manager. Any answers out there?

When you do a softmod, the MS dash is no longer called xboxdash.xbe, it is called msdash.xbe. Maybe your settings for XBMC or Avalaunch need adjusting. Just find any place where it says "C:\xboxdash.xbe" in the config file for XBMC or Avalaunch, and change it to "C:\msdash.xbe"

Does that work?
