I have a problem. I just *ehem* got a backup of a game which i will not mention here. I usually upload the rar's through ftp and then unpack them with complex tools. The thing is, complex tools has consistently crashed on the same rar. Yes, I know what you're gonna say, the rar is intact, not corrupted, checked it with the sfv, and just in case i deleted it and re downloaded that very same rar. Other people which have that very same release hasn't had any problems, so it's just me.
Okay, so i thought to myself... why not just unpack it and send it through Qwix?, my HDD is extremely small on my pc and formated with fat32 (if anyone is wondering it's actually the original xbox HDD which I unblocked and popped into my PC so I could put my 120GB one in my xbox).
Okay, so I tried this nifty little peice of software that unrar's and extracts the iso on the fly and sends everything through FTP (soft called gxiso btw), the thing is, the xbox stops responding on the VERY SAME GOD DAMN FILE that it crashed on before... so... any ideas?
I was wondering if it was my chip, but i doubt it, it's an alladin XT (i think it's called) with evox m7 installed BIOS. I tried uploading through evox 3935, unleashX, avalaunch, XBMC... and others.... same problem.
I would REEEEEEEALLY appreciate it if someone had an idea.

ooh, another thing, can anyone direct me to a good flashing FAQ? i've been looking around and I still don't quite get it (don't wanna risk having a useless mod-chip), or maybe how to get PBL metoo to work (i tried it with AID 2.1 and messed up my c-drive)

Assuming you own the original game....try winrar to extract the game files/iso.
You can usually hold the power button in for 4-5 seconds on Alladin chips to get to the flash menu. Try flashing the X2 BIOS for versions 1.0-1.5. What version xbox do you have?

I can't unrar it on my hardrive it's formated with fat32 and thus, it won't write files bigger than 4GB.. ergo, I'm screwed i think. until I can take my HDD to someone else's computer that is.
Oh, my version is a 1.0 if i recall correctly, I'll have to look into that though.

try ftp-ing the rars to the xbox first, im pretty sure that unleashx can unrar/unzip with the filemanager _________________ .
