I just rented NHL 06 and i am getting a message that says the disk you are using my be dirty or damaged. I am using dvd2xbox 7.0. Anyone know of a way to fix this problem. after i try to copy the game it will say ex. 52 files failed to copy....a to try again, x to cancel.....so i try again and it will be like 21 files failed to copy. I go through that a few times and can get it down to 10 files but no further.
thanks for the help

You are using the right program to do the job, so the question is....
Is the disk dirty or damaged? Are there scratches? Did you clean it then try the DVD2Xbox again? What version of Xbox do you have? Is it the lens that's dirty and not the disk?

if the lens is dirty heres a very detailed tutorial HERE you might want to just try using a long swab instead of opening up the drive though.

What kind of new drive did you decide on? I've been playing the NHL and it's a real kick in the ass!
