I've been looking for any of the games that could be used to softmod the Xbox, but for Mechwarrior I only found the platinum edition, which is no good... 007 Underfire is NOWHERE to be found and Splinter Cell is only in a 3 in 1 presentation... my question is, does this 3 in 1 version works with the exploit?

I have heard somone mention that the platinum one works but dont take my word on it... Its been ages since i remember hearing that and still no confirmation.. Hopefully another member here will be able to let you know.
We have plenty of softmodders on HQ now..

Two good places to look for old games is EBGames and eBay, they are where I picked mine up from and I live in Australia hehe. Honestly they are your best bets yet, just make sure you get the right region for your Xbox otherwise it wont work.
3 in 1 presentation? hm, dunno, you could give it a try I guess but I couldn't say for sure...

The older versions are still out there if you are lucky enough.......
I live in the UK and bought an original splinter cell from my local 'Gamestation' store for £2.99p a couple of weeks ago - strictly to run the softmod exploits - they had about 10 copies when I was in there last !!!!
As DJB said have a look around on Ebay there are usually loads of old xbox games 4 sale.
