could i put an xbox in a car without worrying about damage to the hdd/other components?? cause i've heard from mp3car project that a laptop hdd can scand more movement without damage??

avoid speakers/subwoofers which produce magnetic fields. also excessive bass could lead to problems. and yes laptop hdd's are built to withstand a little more justling than a hdd that will be stationary in a desktop pc

Well this might help you hardwire your xbox, instead of running a power inverter...

A little pricey, but get the job done with less hassle. You could even sell your old psu to deflate the cost.
