i was able to softmod the maindrive and get the eprom
i rebuilt the new drive from scrach and then load the softmod c drive
what i want to do is have the xbox load e drive xbmc for general use
and then when i want to use xbox live i can go into the menu and have xbmc boot to the ms dash on c can some please help me with some steps because when i boot the system into xbmc it works but when i choose to boot to ms dash the system errors out 21,13,14 it has change a few time what dash needs to be loaded on c so microsoft will still let me use xbox live

If you boot your xbox to the m$ Dashboard and gain access to the XBOX LIVE service your xbox will be banned more then likely.. So i wouldnt suggest doing this at all..
Thats why you would want to get a modchip.. Its much simpler.. You just switch off your modchip and then your xbox is running like normal and can access xbox live..
anyway, just thought id add that.. You dont seem to understand that to access XBOX LIVE you must be unmodded.. especially lately..
btw.. i could be wrong.. You may be able to get online with your softmod but you would have to setup more advanced, probably a stealth install or something like that!
