Hello all,

As I modified the Config.xml of the evox dash, the xbox is fully disabled I guess. I have to confess such a stupid thing since I really need your advice and suggestion. The xbox won't boot up, won't read original game dvds'. I really have no idea what I can do with it.

I guess I can try pirrup's hotswap guide but I am not sure whether I can manage it or not. I've heard gossip like there is some restore cd for xbox, I don't know if there it is and I would like to know your idea about it. (But anyway I doubt my xbox would read any cd/dvd now since it even didn't recognize game dvd)

Info about my xbox: has been successfully softmodded with SID, installed with evox dash(ms dash has been backuped in my pc, does this help), no eeprom generated, and then Config.xml modified

Thank you for your help!!!

Hi,

If you dont have a eeprom backup really you should install a modchip to save your xbox entirely including all the eeproms info..

But, If you want you can still recover without a eeprom backup.
You will have to follow pirrups hotswap tuturial like many of our other members have with 100% success..

If your xbox wont boot games i dont see how a disc could help you in anyway.. It would still have to be softmodded and booting fine for a disc like the Auto Installer Deluxe to help (http://www.aideluxe.com)
