I used the softmod installer delux...and really want to go back to play x-box live enabled games....but cant get it to work soo i want to revert back to my regular x-box's state. I clicked backup an dbacked up all those files...how do i get them back? can i get my xbox back to being enabled for xboxl ive or am i done for

Use auto installer deluxe and format all drives, then install ms dash and reboot Should start as a stock xbox.

how exactly do i format all my drives? lol sorry xD im completely lost here :\ i shouldnt even have softmodded my xbox without knowing bunches

Put the AID disk in your xbox and reboot, it will bring up the installer. One of the first option in the list will be format drives. Just format all drives and install MS Xbox dashboard, when you reboot again it will only have the MS dash. (if you didn't take the AID disk out it will tell you it can't read the disk). Good luck.

make sure you don`t turn off the xbox between formating and installing the ms dash. I know it`s a little bit obvious but some people have done this in the past, then it`s pirrups hotswap time.

Have you already tried to get onto xbox live? If so you may already be banned so it might not be worth the hassle, alternatively you could try something like x-link kai or XBC, If I didn`t have 14 friends in my home town on XBL I too would be using one of the above.
easy way to find out if your already banned is to carefully cold boot an xbl game.
(put the game in the tray then turn off xbox again then turn back on again
booting the game before your modded stuff is loaded)
but if your sure you haven`t tried to connect to xbl in a modded state then ignore cold booting as an option as not many people are prepared to try it.
I got it to restore ^_^. Once restored it allowed me on xbox live enabled games again yay no banage! Thanks for all your help!
