XBOX v 1.6c softmodded with SID 4.5
Almost all games refuse to work from HDD or when they are ran from ebox menu.
BUT.. if I put the game DVD into XBOX DVD and reboot the system - the game work just fine..
This situation is really strange.. I have deleted /E/CACHE and reformatted X,Y and Z and still the problem is there...

I am using evox.. I have done this set-up for more than 50 times and this is the first time this problem is.

GO into your system settings and make sure gamess setting is on PAL. Not NTSC or auto. Also, make sure the games u used to burn are real games, not games d/led from a site or torrent. They have to be patched first. _________________ Moddingbandit

System is PAL, video mode is not modified with Enigmah. Games work on one softmodded XBOX and not in other.
All ISOs are patched. All games work (backup burned copies) when XBOX is coldbooted and not when started from evox menu and not, when copied to HDD.

When the game is on hdd it freezes on start. If I run manually the xbe file with boExplorer or XBMC, it freezes. If I run the dvd from evox menu - it freezes.BUT.. if I put the same backup burned game itno DVD and coldboot the XBOX (power off, power on) - every game just works fine

have tried to reinstall evox or load game from another dash board?
slayer 2.6 will reinstall evox w/out miss'n up games or saves just apps are out dated.

totaly agree with hellblazer . try runing the latest dvd2xbox build by runing aid 3 then re burn the game and try it from there.

and i state again im 100% patching the game with the latest dvd2xbox will fix your problems...
and the dvd drive is a thompson but just worry on getting the latest dvd2xbox installed and try it again...
oh and btw the enigmah ntsc to pal switcher does noting more then just reflresh the xbox eeprom.bin it WILL NOT affect the xbox in any way ... _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

Well, I was thinking of reinstalling evox, but I checked md5 sum and it is perfect.. so no, it is not evos issue.
I have tried to run the game from AID.. without any success... so no.. I don't think it is dashboard issue

i didnt say anything about the dashboard dvd2xbox however is an app for xbox .... you see a game has somting called check flags and these are the things that prevent you from running the game from hd .
solution? a patch now dvd2xbox does that thats why i said run aid 3 install dvd2xbox ( it will overwrite the one there) and erase the game and re burn it and try it now . _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

Nice try Gus, but actually games that work on one softmodded XBOX refuse to work on the other..
Game work when coldbooted and does not work when ran from DVD from evox menu.. this is what is killing me.. what happens when any dashboard takes control....
BTW I tried ofcourse to patch either ISO before uploading with Craxtion and/or patch xbe.. I know about flags..
