Hi members,
How are you all.. hope things are well..
Ive been busy as always with the server upgrades etc etc but in the downtime i started a nice little project for our members to use and get involved with.
Ive spent my relaxation time (lol) creating a XBMC RSS browser from the entire HQ network. Thats right.. So you can browse:
- Xbox-Hq.Com
- 360-Hq.Com
- Pc-Hq.Com
- AIDeluxe.Com
Like that??? Well it has even more.. Im still scripting right now and its nearly complete for release.. wohoo hoo.. muuuhaa
If you have some .mp3 media or any other audio files just dump them into the E:\Media\Music\ or F:\Media\Music\ directory (depending what sized hdd you have) and our browser will play randomly when you start using it.
This new script is a MUST HAVE for any hardcore HQ member..
anyway, heres the full list of features so far:
HQ XBMC Browser features v1.0:
- Browse Xbox-Hq, Forums, News, Downloads, Homebrew, Games and Xbox Tutorials. You can view all text, date's it was submitting and keep up with whats new on our site.
- Browse 360-Hq, Forums, News, Downloads, Homebrew, Games and Xbox Tutorials. You can view all text, date's it was submitting and keep up with whats new on our site.
- Browse PC-Hq, Forums, News, Downloads, Games and Tutorials. You can view all text, date's it was submitting and keep up with whats new on our site.
- Browse AIDeluxe News and soon active topics.
- Plays your preferred playlist or will randomly play audio tracks located in F:\Media\Music when the browser is started.
- AIDeluxe 3 will have a new button to start the HQ Browser..
- Hope i will add even more features as i learn more and more about python scripting.
if anyone would like to beta test before the release please reply to this post and contact me

Hey Hobbs,
I'd be interested on doing some beta testing of your script, as I use XBMC scripts a fair bit.
So feel free to send it to me, I'll check it out and then give you some feedback

Hi roo,
Hopefully it works fine for ya.. Let me know.
I only coded it in 24hrs using various other scripts which obviously helped alot and were based on.
im doing my best to get it all finalised but the version you have is very nice already just more cosmetic. If anyone else wants to test just reply with a email address.

Ya know Hobbs, it's not like I spend a lot of time here or anything but if you wish me to beta test a browser for HQ, I would be happy to do so.
Not like I'd ever use it or anything.
I'm still trying to convince my LG9800 to read forum posts but it does more than my 520A or 400V used to do.
Anyway, if I can be of assistance, let me know.

You have seen the light and switched to Verizon, my new employer.
Hobbs, I would love to help ya, but I never really got XBMC to connect properly. Everyone talk so much about it and I cant get the damn thing to work. _________________
