For two days now I've noticed that only the very newest headline appears on the XBMC when booted to the main screen instead of the series of headlines we used to see. Is that by design or is there an issue.
I personally liked all the headlines incase I missed something. _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th

thanks for letting me know dude.
I only just updated our XML .rss news feeds to a 2.0 format. So its compatilbe with all programs..
We used to be only running 1.0 .rss and it played up for alot of programs that tried to use it..
I will test it out now and get all the latest news to scroll for ya again.
Thanks for the headsup..

i have reverted to the v1.0 rss feeds till i get more time to fix v2.0 version.
The v2.0 versino is suppose to give the full news story and not just the topic.. It obviously has a bug in my code.

thanks shark2th.. I know most users like the news too..
Thats why our news administrators are so important..
I hope all news admins realise just about everyones xbox media center has our news on it.. Thats why we need so many guys to stay on top.
I changed my RSS feed to my local news...It looked like this
Store clerk shot in robbery....3 die in automobile accident......2000 to lose jobs as another plant closes...
Didnt take me very long to change it back to the xbox-hq news feed. _________________ Xbox - 1.4 Halo SE

if you have used AIDeluxe to install XBOX MEDIA CENTER it will already be setup.. All you need to do is give your xbox network settings a update so they have a DNS server same as your PC.
Thats it.. The news will scroll accross the very bottom of the XBMC main page when you boot..

Goto your local news webpage and look for a XML button. That will give you the link, then you just copy and paste it into the xboxmediacenter.xml. Yes, two feeds are possible, not really sure on how to do that. _________________

Copy the xbmc.xml to your computer, open it, add the rss feed (http link) to the correct line. save it as an xml file, then replace the one thats on your xbox. _________________
