i have followed the pirrup hotswap tutorial but if no mslogo appears or the green light doesnt flash at all on boot up only starts flashing red and green after about 30 seconds and shows servicing screen with error 7
i have checked my ide cable and swopped for my computers one and booted xbox on that and still error 7 so its not to do with the ide cable
i have bought an xecuter 2.6 is it possible to fix it now?
and for that guy wh says post on same thread as reply
i do sept no1 answers
maybe if i got an answer i would not need to create a new topic to get attention again!

Your only choice is to wait for your chip bud. Without an eeprom your dead in the water so give up hope on that. Once you get the chip, SAVE YOUR EEPROM!!! I would also look into getting a better hdd. Your original might be hosed. But 'til you receive your chip, all you can do is look at it on the web site you bought it from and fantasize about a modded xbox. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

Your best bet would be to try to save the EEProm and get a better HDD...
Go for a WD 80-120GB drive...
I have a 80 GB WD HDD and it works amazing..
Looks like ur HDD is fucked..
