Hi forahobby,
I have a situation that several players are really into the competitions. They monitor each others games and one keeps complaining about why 2 players keeps accommulating scores in the leaderboard when he is not seeing the games they are playing and the high scores of their play. Is it possible these 2 players can hack the games? Anyone in the same situation as me?

You have to remember the leaderboard section was just added to the module for the last release.. I have NO TESTERS, Everyone wants all this stuff done but when i do it no body ever tests and replies. So im stuck..
All i can say is please hold off until the next release.. I have not tested the leaderboard section and i do already know of some small bugs that can let your users gain highscores..
The pts systems doesnt check at the moment whether it should be giving 10 pts for the HIGHEST SCORE or the LOWEST SCORE.. Thats why.. So if a user gets the lowest score.. There is so much more to do..
Anyway, gotta go.. Im half way through updating hq and need to finish it..
Personally just enjoy the module as there is no other like it.. I will keep updating and bug fixing every chance i get..
LAST THING:
The VIP VERSION of pnFlashGames for PHPNUKE will soon be entirely rewritten into functions.. Now that i have the base worked out im going to have functions instead of sloppy code all around the place..
Then all these bugs are easily fixed by modifying 1 or two functions in my php scripts.

I am not a good php coder but i am coder on some other languages. I actually modified the leaderboard. What I found out was if you have the same score with an existing player, your score wont save, but you will still earn leaderboard points. I dont know if its as designed or not. My problem is in almost all games seems to have cheats by doing a right click. I addded a field in the high score table to set different max scores per game (who can score 1M in 30 secs?) and programmed accordingly. However, I think the best solution is not to allow the right click on the game page. Anyone has an idea how to do that?

Hi mate,
I believe you want to go looking for a rightclick.js file.. You have to find a .js file that stops you from rightclicking or just some other javascript code..
Go looking on some crack and hacking sites.. They normally protect there code.. Go look at a warez topsite or something.
Its very simple to implement but for the life of me cant remember off the top of my head the code.. I used to use it years ago.
Ill have a quick browse now but i doubt i can find any of my code.
