I was messing with the Xbox using the auto installer 2.1 and attempted to install Avalaunch on the C drive but kept booting to the XBMC. Now I had formatted C and that's where XBMC was, installed Avalaunch and rebooted only to get XBMC again. Not exactly sure how. Formatted E as well and still booted to XBMC. Damnedest thing I've seen . I also noticed that the evox.xbe was not installing during the Avalaunch installation. Where the heck did I mess this up at? I think I need to rename default.xbe to avalaunch.xbe.... it that right?

Ok.. By the looks of it you are running a bios just like me that is booting F:\evox.xbe E:\evox.xbe C:\evox.xbe.. So you will have to hunt down where it is booting XBMC..
Then use AIDeluxe to install the dashboard to that partition.
lol
I would definagely say your bios is looking for evox.xbe.. So if you want to install avaluanch manually you will have to rename default.xbe to evox.xbe
