I have softmoded my xbox using krayzies installer 2.8 can I use auto installer deluxe to make xbmc to be my dashboard?

it may or may not be a good idea, I for one have never heard of krazie`s softmod so I have no idea where your dash is booting from,
Do you know your way around your xbox hdd and what dash do you run at the moment.
XBMC as a dash sounds like a good idea except there is always a newer version of xbmc out almost weekly and too keep updating it is a pain in the r`s.
even then there is always a list as long as my arm of bugs.
I use xbmc as a dash on one of my hdd`s and the only version of it that i`d consider using is the one that you can download through avalaunch (stable as hell)
If you have any idea where your dash is now i can tell you exactly how to have xbmc as your dash.

I use the XBMC as the dashboard and update without any problem now, since there is new appd to create a shortcut for the application(Xbe Shortcut Maker). It keeps my root dir clean. to update, just replace the XBMC folder in Apps.
