DVD-R = movies and games
DVD+R = movies only

xbox can only play dvd+r if its a movie

Dose it matter what dashboard I have installed. Iam using XBMC as my dashboard, but I cant play burn .ISO games.

I'm telling you to burn it with the booktype of DVD-ROM

Its basically how the Xbox discs are - it'll work better.

You need to get a hacked firmware for your dvd burner...mine wasn't too hard to find for my NEC 1100
