Was it just like a blue or green screen that says MXM or something to that effect. If you were to go into the config, by pressing Y, then configuration you should see your choice to change skins.
What I did was a simpleton mistake. I put the Skins folder in the same folder as the App...and was pointing to wrong direction.
My MXM is in E:/MXM
My Skins are in C:/Skins
I originally made my xml file point to E:/Skins by mistake....
What I probably should have done was just put a skins folder in the MXM folder and kept it all together...kind of sloppy the way I have it. But, it works!

Finaly got it going, working fine. I actually prefer the default skin to the Matrix one. I like the big screen with info about the games etc.

I opted for the matrix skin, I love that thing. I am thinking of putting a picture of all my ex wives and girlfriends in each of the little tv's...
anyone know I can add three tv's to the skin....HA...
