hey,
im a bit confused on how i got the xbox dashboard up and running on my xbox because ive done alot of thing to my xbox and i want to know how to do it from scratch if i wish to softmod my friends xbox's.
If i use softmod installer deluxe, run the linux installer, make a backup of the MS dashboard, install the softmod, install evox/unleashx and then click patch 5960, will that make the MS dashboard available on the exox/unleash x dashboard or do i need to install the ms dashboard another way?

if the patch didn't work you can use AID to reinstall softmod and dash in one time

no ive already got it to work on my xbox, but if i mod someone elses 'virgin' xbox do i only need to do the ms backup, add the softmod and evox, then the patch 5960 option?
