hi,
You will find most games are multi-language games and most folders that are not related to ENGLISH can be removed.. I normally have a quick hunt through the files and folders before i make a .iso of it.
Also go and download radgametools
Its a movie program which downsizes any .bik movies in XBOX GAMEs
Lots of games like Halo, Halo2 etc etc use .bik movies.. You could downsize them using radgametools to make your .iso file smaller.
But, just start with the multi-language side first (i always do).. You wont notice anything then.

Im trying to burn Jade Empire for a friend of mine but I also get this size problem, even though MY Jade Empire was extracted from a 4,7 DVD-R my iso file is 5,9 GB. Any other way of solving it besides changing the video quality (does it make much diference on the visual if I do lower the quality?).
Im trying to burn it with nero any recomendation?

That's another problem, he has the original HDD (8,GB) and there's only 3 gb left. And besides I also would like to know how sum1 got to burn such ISO on an 4,7 and I extracted 5,9 from this same disc. FTPing is not my point. I want to know what kind of program solve this situation or how to solve it on nero.

well to downsize a game you either start by removing LANGUAGE files that are NOT needed for your version..
Then try re-encoding the .bik movies or delete the largest .bik movie and copy the smallest in its place.
There are many ways to do this.. Talk about it in the HQ Hard Drive Backup and DVD/CD Creation forums..

some times ISO files can be bigger than what it's content is, so for that jade of empires dude, try to burn the iso, mb it will fit.
Files that can be deleted safely.
update.xbe
dashupdate.xbe
downloader.xbe
these files relate to xbox live, and it's not necessary, and most of the times, update.xbe can be almost 50 megs.
Also you may look for Demos, some games come with demos, and if you delete demos, you can really gain some size drops.
I can't think of more, but you may also burn DVD+RDL, and cross fingers that your xbox reads it _________________ Xbox v1.1
