hey guys,
just popinng in and out real quick- have some studying to do for some Calc 3 tests (Im going to be up ALL night) but just before i hit the books just wanted some opions.
Im working on some Mechinma (for those who dont know, its basicly making movies, or shows- useing video games EXAMPLE: Red V.s Blue)
Well, the game of choice is Halo 2, I know i know. But before you start blasting me with "This has been done before!" and "Poser" Just let me tell you a little bit about it.
Its called "cold War" Its basiclty about The US, and The Soviet union (in the future!) On the moon (which is going to be blood gulch) and their up their, its going to be mostly humor- well, just damn funny- I've been workinng on a script- and we even have a episode (more of a teaser really) Made up,and it looks great, the sound is great, and well, its just god damn good. now if your asking yourself "how will they get the level llike that and such?" Simple, mods-
but let me assure you- even though this seems as a paradoy of Red V.s Blue , it isnt the same (kind of like Kill zone and Halo) Not that im saying Rv.sB isnt any good! i LOVE THE SHOW! i guess you can say some of our inspirasion comes from it. But all in all,- the show is funny- im in the process of trying to get a tv Tuner, or something i can hook up to my VCR to transfer it over to pc and Edit stuff. Were not hopeing to get some giant contract, or lots of money- were just some guys with a lot of spare time on our hands, and we think it would be cool to give ppl some good laughs hile were at it. I just want some of your guys opion, suggestions, ideas. Shoot.

i'm not going to call you a poser.
i think the idea is good. but you might think about doing something like republic commandos instead of halo 2. i do luike the idea of a show like redVSblue. i understand your trying to be original and i like it. if you ever need any help with script or anything let me know, i'm very supportive of this kind of stuff, and as a matter of fact me and a friend had the same idea to do a series with video games like that. good luck

I was thinking about making one with Phantasy Star Online. But all my hardware to bring the the game in my comp sucks. btw, I want to use my gamecube one since the xbox version can not have 4 at a time on it.
