I havent had a chance to play with it yet due to work and also only haveing a 233mhz laptop..
As soon as DJB gets his XBOX happenin' Im sure we will be spending some sleepless nights installing software and writing reviews and installation notes for you all..
I reckon a XBOX Software Reviews section would be great (do you??).. It could also link to the installation tutorial we will write and put in the 'XBOX TUTORIALS' section..

I have Avalaunch as an extra dashboard on my xbox and it is pretty boring. There has to be something good about it right.
I'm still trying to find it. _________________ "Modding the world, one xbox at a time"

I've tried it out a little bit, but I like EvoX better. It just seems that there is much more you can do with evox. Thats just my two cents.... _________________ XBOX v1.0:

Im using Avalaunch to transfer games and files from 1 xbox to another without the need for a PC. Im getting peak trnsfr of 11 megs and averages 8-9 megs. (depending how full the partition is of course) It took me a bit to get it working but now its on fire!

Is that a built in function of Avalaunch? _________________ "Modding the world, one xbox at a time"

Any app that is on avalaunch is or will be available on evox.. (its just a matter of time as always)...
Ive got avalaunch already install after the slayers v2.5 update..

yes its a feature of avalaunch . Its called file system or something like file explorer. you then set up IPs and connect to remote using a crossover cable and viala. Helps if both are on avalaunch at the same time.

Also Ive tried to do this file transfer using xtoolbox, but it is buggy and kept freezing, and Ive tried xbftp which is much more difficult to use. Avalaunch for this job is user friendly and even better, it doesnt lock on you. As a dash, i reckon evox does a better job, its more customizable with evox.ini etc... but everything has its place incl. Avalaunch.

yeh we are pretty tight here man but always ready to welcome a new member.. As you can see we are international and have many members from around the world which is great..
xbox-hq.com is just trying to make it easy for people to meet and make friends without the flaming that goes on at xbox-scene and other sites i wont mention..
everyone was a newbie once but some seem to forget.
btw.. i did my first modchip install 2 weeks after the Enigmah-x was released and NO ONE knew anything then.. This was like June i think from member 2002.. *its already been ages..

i tried evox after my box crashed i still prefer avalaunch v. 49.2 alot better than evox. but thats my opinion. i couldent find a filemanager on evox. and avalaunch has it built in to the main dash. _________________ SE HALO XBOX v. 1.6

Hi guys,
Dont worry too much.. The new XBOXHQ AI Deluxe will install every emulator, dashboard or app for your xbox.. Its gonna be unreal..
Once DVD for all (CDRW)
I'm using the new version of avalaunch and in my opinion, its better than evox (just my 2 cents). To be honest, what we need is a dash that utilises the best part of all the other dashs and compiles it into one. That way everyone can be happy.
