Since Im asked how to make a skin and will I make a tut more than probably anything else on XBOX Ive finally decided to oblige.
Im making a new Ux theme based around Rotting Christ to commemorate 30 years since releasing their first album. I will be recording my work via screen cap and cell phone along with audio and typed commentary explaining what Im doing, how and why. And if you can follow this since making a theme is more complicated than just a skin youre ready and able to make your own skins.
Stay tuned and sub to this thread if you want to learn as I will be making new posts over the coming days

STEP 1
Before you start on any skinning project you need a general idea of the tools required. Its always a good idea to have the following on hand
- A tool for making fonts I use FONT BUNDLE (Warning it may get flagged by your AV. Not sure why this happens since its made by MS)
-A tool for manipulating pics. I use Paint and Adobe (I just create a BS email whenever I want to make a new skin and grab the 30 day After Effects and Photoshop free trial) But really the photo tools are up to you
-Tools for editing base movie files (mp4, avi etc) I normally use Corel , Pinnacle, Adobe and Batch22B
- And a text editor I use Notepad and an FTP app I use FileZilla
BASE FILES
Pretty much any media files can be used as base files including picture files, videos, audio files, and animations created using XACT or XDK
These 3 pictures
And this video
Will be my main background with a slideshow with video overlay.
And these pics will be my splash, file manager, music player and loading screens

MAKING FONT FILES
Load up Fontmaker and click on FILE-NEW FONT
Choose the font you want and specify its size (I outline and shadow my fonts so they show a bit better)
Click on FILE-SAVE FONT FILES
Now run FontBundle
Click on LOAD and select the TGA file you just made and hit BUILD
The resulting XPR file is your font file for use with UnleashX
You will most likely want to make multiple fonts of varying sizes. I normally use 8-12 for info like IP and free space and 14-20 for the main menu.
