Does it matter if I use a 4081.67 on a hdd smaller than 137 gb? Just in case I decide to put in a larger hdd later, I won't have to reflash. Is there a reason I have to use the 4981.06? I guess this goes for the 4983.xx's as well? What is the benefit of the 4983 again? Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Just noticed this never got answered. You should really upgrade to the X2 5035 bios so that partition sizes no longer matter.

Thanks for the reply. It was so long since I TSOP'd I forgot this answer. But I have a 4981.67 working well with a 120 GB HDD. I am sure this is not the first time I have done this. Cheers.

And for your confirmation it does not matter, it runs in the other direction. .67 can be used for large and small but .6 is small only, thats why its good to go with .67 by default. .67 supports G drive, .6 doesnt
