On the AID disc there is a lba48.exe file for the Xecuter 2 bios. Do you need this file? There is nothing in the manual about it.
It is for larger hdd's, like 350 or larger i think.

If your xbox is showing you damn near all 500GB then you don't need it, most bios for the X-2 have the lba built in to it

I hope so. Already had the data corruption near 256 GB, due to the wrong bios. Flashed with the 5035 137+ bios. And I am over 300GB and no probs.
If needed, how can I use the execute file? Do I need to patch the bios bin file?

With the BIOS you are running now all you need to do if you see any more data corruption is format the HDD using 64K clusters and you should be able to run up to a few thousand GBs.
If you already ran 64k clusters then you are good to go.

Wes, the 64k clusters is only for HDD larger than 512GB. Anyway XBPartitionar has no option for 64K cluster size for 500GB only 16k and 32k.
You will hear here first when I got over 350GB and suffer probs.
Still don't know how to use the lba.exe file?

Sorry bout that i wanted to say 32k, lba48 is just there to set up the hdd for F gets all, F & G split the space and F with no G so if you are not messing with partitioning space you don't need to fool with the lba48.
Since you ran 32k you are fine.

Sorry bro but i just got back from vacation and got your PM, try booting the X-3 xbox while holding the white button and check the X3 Config Live to see what the LBA48 is set for in there.
The X3 Config Live will control the X-3 Bios and all its functions.
