Damn I should have dumped the ISO on your Xbox while you were over here, but I was more worried about putting everything else on.

So I've been looking for XBMC for a while now and have been trying to figure out how to get it on my XBOX... I would say that i'm frustrated that it took me so long but I learned so much while trying to figure out everything so i can't complain. Quick Question: If you have XBMC as your default browser can you load xbox games off it?

Yes you can, theres not much you cant do with XBMC. Hence why it's most people's choice for their dashboard these days.

My modchipped 1.6 Xbox wont boot to XBMC without XBMC installer disc inside the dvd tray. I've installed XBMC using 'one-click install' onto the 80ghdd. But everytime when i remove the installer disc the Xbox goes back to MS dashboard. I can only boot to XBMC dashboard using the installer 'advanced section >> boot dashboard section'. Pls advise. Thks

It could be because your BIOS is not finding the file needed to boot XBMC.
What BIOS is on your modchip, and is it one that I've provided with the download?

accdg to xbox bios checker version 5, it is unknown. btw, it was modded recently using aladdin xt and with 160g hdd. its working very fine and it boots ok using the xbmc dashboard. when i saw the installer disc, i've got excited to use it. so, i burned the iso of XBMCID 1.44 and AID 4.52 (btw, the installer discs that you've created are really wonderful and both work perfectly! really thank you for your great effort that you've put in, the only thing is that on my modded xbox they work something like a live cd even though their contents are already extracted and installed onto by 80g hdd), removed my 120g hdd (with working XBMC installed inside), use my new 80g hdd and loaded the installer disc, but it works only like a live cd. before i remove the 120g hdd, the settings says smart xx, is this supposed to be the bios? thks

Where abouts do you install XBMC to your Xbox HDD, C / E or F Drive?
I'd try using the "Install to C Drive" option and hopefully you might not need the CD anymore. What this does is installs XBMC to E Drive, but makes a shortcut on C Drive for it to boot. Hopefully this might work.

'Install XMBC todrive C' still installs it to drive E and only leaves a shortcut 'evoxdash.xbe (60 kb) to drive C. Do I have to manually copy or move the entire XBMC folder from drive E to drive C using the File Manager? thks

No, the shortcut on C loads XBMC from E
